Yeah, this sounds really stupid to have the show hijacked by a previous red ranger. That sounds like the very worst of Bandai's red worship so far.

I thought this would just be in a movie or V-cinema, but no, the main character of King Ohger is literally being replaced in his own show. I can't imagine fans will be happy with that.

The only part of this that sounds good is the new Gabutyra, just because it sounds like a cool new mecha, but the idea behind this all sounds horrible. Is this why King Ohger has felt so breakneck in its pacing, because it's going to devote the second half to Kyoryuger?

Hopefully the Kyoryuger parts have no real impact on the main story and those episodes can be skipped without any harm to the show.

As a staunch hater of Kyoryuger specifically because of Daigo, I cannot say I'm happy about this decision.
Bring back Riki, he's Kingranger (And we'd get to see him grown up), bring back Yamato, the king of kings, literally anyone but Daigo, who is just nicknamed king...

Really disappointment int he feet. I was hoping they'd integrate a little smoother and they're absolutely massive.

I will say I really like that the legs right below the knee and torso get extended and there's more torso armour in general. Though as a result the arms, particularly the right one, feel pretty neglected.

I am glad another show is taking the Shinkenger approach of integrating a piece between the individual legs so all the extra mass isn't just feet.
It's a damn shame that, despite doing so, all the mass is still just feet :lol

I also feel a missed design opportunity would be to replace the 2nd spider with an alternative crotch piece, that way it would prevent all the bulk being solely on the upper body.

Hi everyone, professional lurker here. really enjoying the series and decided to post.

The spider is covering up the add on crotch piece which looks like the axe blade from the little weapon bug that comes with Caucusus.

I am disappointed in the feet. For the size of them i would expect them to completely replace the lower legs and have a slot in spot for the old legs kind of like what G12 did for Birca and Gunpherd. Would have also given better stability because i don't feel confident in the 1 clear clip connection between the bottom of Kingohger and the new feet. Feels like a toy design that's designed to fail over time.

EDIT: Ok, on closer inspection it does look like the thigh extender goes all the way down to the foot, so it may be a partial replacement with the other half of the connection being that clear clip in the bottom of the og foot. Still don't like that its relying on that, even a bit. They could have used a similar connection to the rail system they've been using for weapon attachments instead.

EDIT 2: The feet being all black is the issue i have here. It likely is pulling the same thing that Super Fire Dagwon pulled for its combination and is using the arms of the Caucasus mech to provide some rolling treds on the side, so the ACTUAL foot is the rest of it, which is a more reasonable thing to me.

If the treads on the feet can move up and out of the way that would dramatically improve the look of the legs IMO.

Multiple arms really make sense here. I'm surprised they didn't run with it even further.

A four armed combination would've been fitting. Both for the bug theme as well as letting it use all those weapons that are just hanging onto the spider backpack.

I know it's not technically part of the combination, but just a product of fitting the figure into the box, but they probably could've made use of removing Kuwagata's arms to widen the torso some.

And I feel King-Ohger should represent a female villain! Like say one based off a scorpion like Scorpina!

I'd rather not have Racles become another emo loser guy, but I totally think he'll be back to take revenge on the Bugnarok, for what they did to Boshimar.

The previous Hachi-Ohger and evil queen of Tofu, who hoarded food during the Fury of the Gods, will be appearing in the summer movie, so look forward to that!

That all depends if she returns to the show after that. I prefer a female villain who's like tribute to Lami from Zyuranger. Based off a scorpion. If adapted, Scorpina would return. She'd be like Jeramie Brasieri, except not a hybrid but could take human form.

Think about this:

After being defeated by his brother, he finds himself in the depths unconsciously. Then this villainess finds him as she along with her crew take him to one of their prisons. It turns out this group would come from a lost kingdom/queendom or a group of bandits/exiles and are searching for a new king to become their ruler.

Seeing this as an opportunity, he takes it as a means of not only avenging Boshamir and destroying the Bugnarak, but also to destroy his brother and the rest of the King-Ohgers.

Think of him almost like Milliardo Peacecraft from Gundam Wing when he became leader of White Fang, along with Kamen Rider Rogue (but not emo) taking vengeance on Touto for his banishment as he represents Seito.

And with Gira taking the crown, Rcules might get his own dark version of the crown.

He probably doesn't even see the difference, considering his "I am the nation" line. Whatever title makes him the most powerful, he'll try and claim it.

Yeah, I like that idea. It's clear to me that Racles knows more about Terra's ancient history than the other monarchs, judging by his stirred reaction to Jeremy bringing it up, so this mysterious faction might value that. I could imagine a dynamic like Rio and Long, with Racles being used to further some other objective, or he could be like Brajira and using them instead. Maybe Jeremy's mother Nephila could be leading the faction as an antivillain, as I recall the show told us to pay attention to her and we know that Bugnarok can live for millennia.

Ohkuwagata-Ohger being a repaint of Kuwagata-Ohger and getting a repaint of his own power-up would be pretty appropriate, like Dark Kiva to Kiva Emperor. Maybe a silver Ohger Crown to match his suit.

Well probably not Nephalia as a villainess, but perhaps another female Bugnarak like her would be. Nephalia would probably be locked up by that new group, for refusing to help this cause.

But I guess Nephalia can play some role right after her romance with Jeramie's dad. If as an anti-villainess, as long as she's still a good person. But I'm still sticking to a new villainess to stick with Rcules.

As cool as Mele is, I definitely meant Rio and Long. After the Kenma were all defeated, Rio started training in the style of Gen Jyuken to catch up with Super Geki Red, not realizing that Long was manipulating him the whole time. This is kind of similar to the situation Racles is in right now, following his defeat by Gira, where his desperation to regain power could make him somebody else's puppet.

I'm skeptical about Nephalia's alignment, based on what little we know about her. Jeremy speaks highly of her and has sentimentality towards the Venomix Shooter she created, but his narration can be unreliable and biased sometimes. Like, we know that Nephalia totally made her son wear a cursed mask for 2000 years, so she's maybe not the best mother ever, despite her good intentions. It's possible she might want revenge on the five kingdoms, or justice, for discrediting the sixth hero of the legend and forcing their son to live in hiding. She might see Racles as a means to that end.

There's also the ongoing subplot about the truth behind the Fury of the Gods, which Karras faked her death to investigate. Whoever's behind it, I imagine they probably have beef against the five kingdoms and they definitely once possessed the souls of Scorpie and Guardian Cicada, the former Jeremy knew was buried under Gokkan and the latter being in his possession. From these details, it seems likely that the culprit was somebody affiliated with Jeremy, or at least aware of his existence and his closely guarded secrets, which should narrow it down quite a lot. Alternatively, if Nephalia is actually being held captive, then the culprit could simply interrogate that information out of her.

Man, I don't recall seeing that tradition since Kiramager, which was memorable for Juru's backflip. I guess I can understand why Donbrothers skipped it, despite how something that uncanny would've been totally normal for such a crazy show. Would be nice to bring it back for King-Ohger for sure.

Not sure if I'm the only one seeing this, but I think the show might be setting up Hymeno/Rita. While the other monarchs are kind of intimidated by Rita's aloofness, Hymeno is more willing to talk to them as an equal and encourages them to lighten up a little. It could simply be friendship though.

I'm glad it has a physical suit. It'll probably be clunky as all hell to watch it move, but the CG final mechs just never did it for me.

If Desnarak does fall early I can see Racles possibly returning as the evil and bitter rebel and give us a "my how the tables have turned" moment for the last dozen or so episodes.If not I can see him be another Bio Hunter Silva type antagonist of the show.

Huh, so the actual head is replaced by a dummy head inside the new helmet piece.

That means two of the core five mecha play no part in the actual combination.

Otherwise I do like how the legs extend and the chest gets additional armour. It's just a shame nothing more intelligent was done with all the bugs on the backpack.

Here's hoping God Kuwagata's soul not only assists God Kuwagata, but also frees up the Crown Lance for other rangers to wield.

I highly doubt the crown will ever be used by everyone

IT was stated it only works for those of that bloodline, the lance no, but the crown power up is strictly tied to Gira's bloodline

So unless the other rangers somehow are able to get Gira's blood make a serum then it isn't happening

I really wish some of Caucasus was dedicated more to the combination. I was assuming the design was so blocky because of that, but literally the majority of the guy is just the feet. Very disappointing.

I bet if they weren't committed to keeping the scorpion and kabuto on the arms, we could've had the caucasus arms attach to kuwagata's as extensions, rather than just sitting on the legs.

That's kind of my beef with the whole thing. Every additional mech just adds onto the previous combination, rather than moving parts around. Caucasus at least extends the legs and head, but the arms being left alone is strange and makes them look gimped. I never would've predicted the kabuto cannon would stay on the right arm through every combination.
