The lighting effects are just amazing! The show must have a scene in the dark to show the driver in all its glory. And if it doesn't exist, someone has to take it off.
The holder is just a case on the wrist, without any gimmicks. But we can't know if this is true for all Kamen Riders/Senshi in the show.
The cards are cardboard and there seems to be no way to extend their service life. So if you like to play, it is better to stock up.

Well this didn't take very long at all. So the DX GotcharDriver has already been hacked to hell and back and pretty much all the matches have been found (nifty chart included). With that 2 new card categories have been found, those being the astrology & mythology category (the 2 blue ones I included images of which also shows what they match with. Lastly we have some potential upgrades found: for Gotchard we have Hopper 1 on 1 + Hopper 1 & Tokyuu Liner + Steam Liner (most likely a Rabbit Rabbit/Tank Tank situation). There's also Mach Wheel which is most definetly going to be for Valvarad.

To add to that, there has got to be something significant with the astrology/mythology category, as it activates a unique henshin sound (Ga-Ga-Ga-Gachanko!) and each one of the combos are only between the Astology/Mythology (no random pairings with other categories) and each of the combos has the same musical jingle.

Also, there was a rumor that the first quarter upgrade would involve the Number 10 Cards, one being UFO. Looks like that could be true given that UFO is a 10 card.

Gotta say, I love all the crazy sounds/combos. Lots of cool and crazy sounds for sure, and we get some familiar themes for cards (Zombie, T-Rex, etc) with some brand new ones (Cactus, Wrestler, Mushroom, etc).

Also, there is a Christmas form! Santa Claus + Something I cannot make out from the sound, but it's green and has a jingle bell sound so it might be Christmas Tree if I had to guess.


EDIT: For the fun of it since the chart didn't specify some combos, here are some I could make out (although I am probably off in some places):

TimeRoudo + Raptor = TimeRaptor

Zombie + Giganotosaurus = Gigant Zombie

Goldash + (I think Crab? The sound sounds like "Metallic Kani") = GoldMetallica

Doctor + Snake = DoctorHebi

Vampire + Sabertooth Tiger = ZyukuunLiger (Zyukuunpire + SabreLiger)

Dragon Fly (Great Tonbo) + Scorpion = Great Sasori

How come all the astrology and mythology cards of the same level are listed as pairs? They don't add up to 10?

If the Secondary rumor is true, I think this is going to be his Kamen Rider card.

Gaiard is a cool name for the Level 10 astrology card, but it feels like a missed opportunity that they didn't call it Planet X.

Yeah, I recall it was GoldMechancer or something like that, which sounds like a pun on mecha and cancer, meaning crab.

Surely Bakuzemi would be the cicada, right? The name reads like "exploding cicada".

Because those are the ones that make a unique sound together in the Driver.

I'm guessing that might mean they weren't meant for Gotchard. My assumptions:
1) Astrology + Mythology will become Valvarado's theme after becoming a rider. Unlikely, since he will most likely continue to stick to the theme of technique. Plus, there is not too much pink in space and myths)
2) This cards are designed for the tertiary rider. In the description of "Golden Decade" I can easily see a mythical space warrior.
3) Cards are intended for quaternary rider/pseudorider. We don't know anything about him/her yet, but given the number of alchemists in the cast, someone has to transform.
4) These combinations are for villains. That is, they are named after moirai - the goddess of fate from Greek mythology. And astrology just predicts fate.

This is only one video, but I found a second and third to make sure of some stuff.

Couple things to note:

The Sets come in Boxes, each Box has 30 Packs, and each Pack has 3 Cards. (Seriously? That feels like a lot of waste. Why not like 10 Packs of 9 Cards, or 15 Packs of 6 Cards?)

Phase 00 seems to come with a predetermined amount of each card

• 7-8 copies of the Ride Chemy cards
• A stack of 8 Blank Cards
• 1 copy of each Legend Rider Card for Phase 00

The Pairings in Phase 00 are SteamLiner with Hopper 1, and GutsShovel with DokkiriMajin (kinda surprising considering AppareSkebo is the first alternate form we've been shown in marketing)

The Legend Rider Cards have specific pairings with one other, but all of them have exact same helmet design on the back (Which may or may not be the final blow to the "Decade returns" rumor)

Keep in mind you guys the Astrology & Mythology card don't have any lvl number associated with them in chart when compared to most other ones on the chart, more than likely that's because we actually know what lvl most of the other cards are based on phase 00 & 01 card pool. It's important to not that the Driver does not tell you what lvl each card is, it only says the name of the card. For example if you put in kamantis it won't tell you that it's lvl 9, it just says kamantis. So chances are the reason the Astrology & Mythology cards don't have any lvl associated with them on the chart is simply because we don't know what lvl Bandai is going to assign to them

Oh okay, yeah, that's where I was getting confused. I presumed they were all in order like the others.

However, with names like Ga10h and Dragon MarduX, they have to be the Level 10 cards, so if they're a pair, then they add up to 20, unlike the other Level 10 cards that don't have a pair. Hmm, what could that mean?

All Tier 10 cards have the same helmet with an X on the back. I think they are used one at a time. Well, or Gotchard splits in two, as in the case of the Mighty Brothers.

Or, maybe, this is for Gotchard?s super form, where he levels up and is now strong enough to utilize two Tier 10 (10+10=20) cards when transforming. Idk just speculating.

Perhaps that's what the adapter is for. I hope we figure out how he accesses the Wild Modes

You're probably right. I just get confused seeing the astrology and mythology cards listed next to the other 8 categories, but looking closer at the second list, it looks like they don't have pairs at all. Like they're intended for either a Rider besides Gotchard, or a weapon.

Yeah, that's my theory as well. Maybe it even has something to do with mystery card #101, like in Blade how Category Queen cards were used to increase fusion rate.

They make unique sound in the driver which is something that only matches do (although they make the special gagagachanko sound instead of the normal gachanko sound which seems to reserved for Gotchard?s upgrades).

Honestly my best guess is that the rules are going to be slightly different for higher tier forms/power ups.

I know, the reason I said gaia was an outlier wasn't because I thought it wasn't a planet, it was because it's not one of the 7 associated with alchemy.

It might happen. We got a ring-wearing high school girl Tertiary Rider 10 years ago, so a ring-wearing high school girl Secondary Rider seems like the logical next step. I imagine Toei will be watching Cosmic Fury closely, to see if the risk of a female Red Ranger pays off.

Technically no. Those cards do not activate the "Number 10 Gochyanko" nor "Number 10 Fever" sounds in the belt that regular Number 10/X cards do. Not saying that they aren't Level 10/X, just that they will be treated differently from the other 10/X Cards.

On a side note, I wonder if/when SushiHopper and LegendLiner will show up in some shape or form. I do not think that SushiHopper will be anything more than a HBV form, but LegendLiner makes curious if it's a fusion form or just Legend getting a Gotchard-Belt based form.

I guess either Valzard becomes the Secondary or they pull a Chase and he becomes the Tertiary.

I do think there's a good chance the female lead will end up becoming a Rider if only because every Reiwa show has had a female Rider.

Gotchard features two alchemist girls, three female villains, and the protagonist's mother with experience playing the main character on a toku show. One of them will definitely become a rider. Well, or Kamen Senshi, if Hasegawa wants to make that term a tradition.

By the way, we believe that becoming Valvarado a rider will be associated with a character arc, such as a change in character or a difficult victory. But what if he just takes the bike card from Gotchard and then starts calling himself a rider?
