That was all I heard about PuToTyrano in OOO, about how it ends up being his default form. And that worked. Emperor is a gorgeous thing. And I'm looking forward to seeing more of it, and more of Kiva. Especially now that it's revealed that Mio is the new Queen

Made sense for Eiji to go into PuToTyra all the time too. Also just wait till you get further in Kiva you won't believe what happens. |

But then again story wise it does make sense and iirc the original Kiva suit had major balance problems. Ahh you must be close to Saga then, I won't say anymore than that. |

At least not for me. And a lot of others. |

Yeah that's definitely true, it's Emperor for a while. Though you do see the main Kiva suit again one last time. I never heard about that but it would make sense. Also Saga is one of the best looking suits ever. |
Kiva?!
Mio's awakening, and sadly, the death of Spider Fangire. Not that he didn't have that coming but he was one of the more interesting villians. And the plot thickens between Queen and Otoya, and new Queen and Wataru. Seems they both like comitting the same sin. Finally an appearance from Shi-Chan. She's been missing from like ten episodes so far, I think her last appearance was that date episode in the resturant. I could be wrong. But after having such a strong presence in the first dozen or so episodes, it looks like she's being pushed into the backround. Still enjoying Kiva though, so :lol And before I forget.. Supernova has beaten Destiny's Play now for favorite Kiva song. |

I just watched the first volume of Blade so I can start catching up on LWW. Man I love this show.

Kiva 29. Or: Shizuka is a Jealous Evil Little Girl. Like.. damn son. So many questions though..
How did Mio become Queen? Is Megumi really related to Wataru? How did Otoya and Yuri die? How did Rook lose his memories? Taiga was introduced in baby form and flashback.. Saga is coming soon right?! Gah o_o So many questions! |
Don't expect answers to all of them. *Insert Shizuka evil laugh*

And thats where I know Bishop from! He was Legion in Wizard, and apparently someone in Hibiki. That makes two from hibiki o.o |

And Bishop was actually several people from Hibiki - he played the Douji, the male half of the many pairs of guardians/parents of the Makamou, as well as the various more powerful versions thereof. |
Dont tell me that :lol I need answers.. alot of answers!
He's good, he's really good, at the creepy dark man. So many people from Hibiki are in Kiva that it makes me want to try Hibiki again. |

Watched Faiz episodes 26 and 27 last night and well when Kusaka isn't the biggest jerk from the Ryuusei School you know there is a problem lol. I'm starting to like him more after each episode which is a good thing. Delta seems really powerful I'm intrigued to see where this goes. Wasn't expecting Mari's friend from the school to be the Orphenoch that was a shock.
I really enjoy the President of Smart Brain and the members of the Lucky Clover intriguing villains. Also Takumi is awesome, I find him a fun and relatable character atleast for me. |
YOu'll get answers, just not to every single question. I'd say out of 10 questions, Kiva answers 8 of them, which are a vast improvement over most of the shows like 555, Decade, Kabuto, Hibiki, Kuuga, etc.

Kuuga 43-46
The story is winding down but we still have those bullshit real life subplots to deal with. *Sigh* On the other hand, the final monster of the week story arc of the show was actually engaging. The Kabuto guy who could change forms and use Golden power was interesting and could have had implications but Yuuske just gets electrically shocked again to get more power. *Sigh* Damn it Kuuga, why can't you have engaging subplots related to the villains. And now we have only 2 left. B1 and N-Daguva-Zeba. This might be epic depending on how many kindergartners they decide to keep out of these last 3 episodes. Also, is it just me, or did I not expect Zeba's voice to be that high when you saw heard about him? I'll do end of Kuuga tomorrow. |

They have no fear from the axe man, they simply have fifty episodes to tell their story, so then why is it, despite this fact, that the shows are always so poorly planned out? Rushed anti-climactic messes in the last ten episodes. That middle section where the show starts to drag and meander waiting for a secondary Rider to come pick the show up. The amount of shows that introduce a mythology in the first ten episodes and then spend the next forty episodes contradicting it and so on. Toku shows should be, all things considered, the tightest of the tight when it comes to visual storytelling and yet in many ways they are some of the worst. I've seen American shows run for almost a decade, spend every season terrified of being cancelled at any moment, and yet still managing to be better paced and consistent than most toku shows. |
Gah.. So many people upset about Kamen Rider unanswered questions.. Gomen-Nesai!

Kuuga 47-49. Basically the end.
MEH. That sums up my thoughts about the end and the entire series itself. I will get to doing a full on review of Kuuga eventually but that one word along with this short post should give you an idea. The beginning of episode 47 is probably the best scene I have seen in Kamen Rider so far, the way the camera keeps focusing in and out, the audio, Godai's panicked breathing, it was all perfect. But 47 and 48 consists of Godai going to everyone and their mother saying goodbye because he is prepared to die. The end of 48 was a perfect fight, with Yuuske and Daguva struggling to fight each other and eventually going man to man with Daguva bleeding out. One of my problems with a few Rider series was I wanted a Return of the King-eske ending, where everything wraps up without leaving the climax as the end .Kuuga gave me what I wanted but its not the series I wanted it from. Episode 49 is filled with characters I don't give two shits about, standing around talking about Godai expecting me to cry or have feelings that its ending. I really like Daguva's design it exemplifies the best parts of the Gurongis' hit or miss design and resembles Ultimate Kuuga, it tops as 1 my best designed rider villains list with Kamen Rider Odin in second and Kyroyu Greeed coming in third. When I first saw a picture of Ultimate Kuuga, I thought he looked like crap, but he looks pretty classy in this episode. Still is beaten out by Rising Ultimate though (but that's a story for another day) And that's my problem with Kuuga, there's a few, amazing elements bogged down by mediocre and even bad content. I know every Heisei series can't have an amazing story but this series in particular left a lot of story potential alone in favor of subplots consisting of, two kindergartners in Yuuske's sister's class are fighting, that scientist lady being sorry she couldn't be at take your parent to school day, Yusuke meeting his teacher again or finding one of his teacher's students. I want to know How the Gergu works? How did Ancient Kuuga beat the Gurongi without the Golden Power or even if he attained Ultimate Form? Where did Gouram come from? Do all Gurongi's have the capability to form change like that beetle guy in episodes 44-46? Do B1's unlocks release a cap that the Gerugu necessitates per rules of the game? They start to go somewhere with the Gurongi massacres as some sort of internal conflict but that is silenced pretty soon by the end. None of these questions are answered and could have made really interesting plotlines that made the show a lot better while still keeping that smelling the roses aspect of people's normal lives in it. |
