Well I've quite firmly become a Gunpla addict.

I started collecting physical manga (I mean, I have bought physical manga before, but this will be the first time I'm collecting a series), and the first series I'm collecting is Rozen Maiden, which has a newly translated Collector's Edition being published. I've never seen Rozen Maiden before but the premise of 'dolls in a battle royale' just sounded too awesome to pass up.

Dude managed to get autographs from Bulk and Skull? That's it, their Power Rangers fan experience has peaked, they'll never get as much joy and fulfillment from Power Rangers again after that.

I still owe Schrier and Narvy a round after Lexcon 2017. Also I wonder if I could get them to sign a couch cushion...

The problem of course being getting a couch cushion onto the con floor.

Not that it'd be a particularly unusual or security's attention-worthy prop, it's just a rather cumbersome item to lug around, especially in a crowd.

Nah, they need to make a literal Bulkwich for fans at a con for that. :lolol

I'm sitting in a cafe before work, having a snack, and nearby a couple, let's say, very openly express mutual sympathy. I beckon the manager, point and ask:
"What is this?"
The manager, apparently not wanting a scandal, says:

To which I respond:
"What l'amour? It's shameful!"

By the way, I also learned that there is no word "kolbasa" in the English language. There is a sausage and names of individual types, like salami, bologna, homemade, but the concept of kolbasa is not distinguished separately.

I can sympathise, PDA isn't really fun to watch.

I'm pretty sure it exists in the US as kielbasa due to (predominantly) Polish association/heritage, particularly in my part of the country.

For the past two months I've been speedrunning Honkai Star Rail so I can properly understand the Fate collab, which I heard you have to play after the Penacony chapter (third world you visit in the game) to understand what's going on.

Well, I finished Penacony, and let me just say, for the all crap gacha games get (for justifiably understandable reasons admittedly), the story...wasn't actually as bad as I thought? If anything, it's actually good. Like, wow, I wasn't expecting much but they really blew me away with Penacony. I actually got emotional a few times, and I mean, I guess that's kind of the point (otherwise you wouldn't be compeleld to pull for characters), but like wow I really enjoyed myself.

So, uh, yeah. Honkai Star Rail is fun.

But this is the last time I'll try to speedrun a game, good grief.
