I think we've established that you really like what you've seen of Zyuoh The World so far, and you don't want him to end up as a lame character. Yes, we'd prefer that he doesn't debut as early as Starninger and Kyoryu Gold. Yes, it'd be great if he was an anti hero character. Honestly though, I don't really see a whole lot else to discuss about the character at this point in time, so we're just going to have to wait and see.

I honestly wish that the ZTW stuff had never leaked, to avoid completely baseless, silly conversations liked these. Or at least leaked closer to the character's debut.

So, uh, I recently saw a major character in a Super Sentai age rapidly from child to adult form. It was weird, but also isn't that uncommon for Super Sentai? To my knowledge, it happens to Tranza in Jetman, the evil empire's crown prince in Ohranger, the little girl in Abaranger, and the five main Sentai in ToQger. Is this something that's common in Japanese children's shows in general? Is it just a Super Sentai or tokusatsu thing? Can't say it's my favorite plot twist.

Not particularly. Cartoon/Anime-wise it happened in the original Thundercats with Liono, and in Sailor Moon it happened to Chibi-Usa when she turned into Dark Lady.

For those of you who grew up with Power Rangers, how big of an effect did nostalgia have on you while getting into Sentai?

I started with Zyuranger and the nostalgia was super strong. It made me love Zyuranger, but it made getting into other shows (that I don't have a nostalgic connection to) a bit harder.

I grew up with PR. I haven't watched much Sentai yet. But the ones I have watched does give me some nostalgia pangs.

I got into Sentai out of a sense of curiosity, discovering the original source material of a series that has been with me my entire life. Funny thing is, I've only ever seen one episode of Zyuranger, and most of what I know about its plot I know from the recent AT4W video on it. The shows I have seen (ToQger, Abaranger, Zyuohger and so on) have been nostalgic and interesting, for one reason or another.
