I watched the Go-Buster vs Gokaiger movie today. Outside of the narrator giving off the powers being almost non-existent (I missing the really loud call outs for each Sentai team the Gokaigers use), the movie wasn't bad. I think the scenes with the Buddyroids were bad, and the problem with the Go-Busters is I stopped caring about them long ago, but I loved everything with the Gokaigers, the old mecha (love Jin's "This feels like home" comment), and I love how they named the drunk villain after the god of whine. That was pretty cool. I do think they completely wasted Basco's character though. I know he was just an avatar but come on.

Well after 4 episode of Shinkenger, I went and changed my mind. Mainly due to the fact that I can't stand Shinken Red. Maybe he grows on you, but I don't like him much. Jan is much more my speed so I switched to Geki and am now up to episode 5. Hopefully I can catch up and start watching with the rest of you.

Do you mean the Mobirates guy by this? Because I heard him pretty clear every time there was a Gokai change.

EDIT: Okay I just read on overtime that everyone was saying the film had audio issues. Weird, I honestly didn't notice them myself.

Oh, so it was their file? Well that makes sense since I had to max out my receiver on their Gavan movie file just to hear it with my receiver's volume on my normal level.

The Mobirates voice over definitely sounded off. Like he was echoing from really far away. It didn't sound right at all to me. And I had to do the same as Dr. Kain on the Gavan movie. The audio was so low I had to turn it up to the max just to get it to a semi-audible level.

those were audio issues? I thought they were intentional

Wow, what a contrast! I couldn't stand Jan at first but I did like Takeru quite quickly. (Although I'm warming up to Jan now)

Anyhow even if you let it go now, I do recommend getting back to Shinkenger in the future. Trust me, Takeru really grows on you A LOT. Contrast his latest appearance in Goseiger vs Shinkenger with how he was in the early episodes of Shinkenger and you'll notice a stark contrast. Shinken Red has excellent character development and he's probably the best thing about Shinkenger.

IT'S TIME FOR BUSTER!

I was on the bandwagon for some time and disliked Gobuster..But I finally gave it change, and I love the series..Beet, and Stag Buster are a awesome extra duo!

I was much like Rama, actually. I'm not a super big fan of Fireball Reds (Ban is still one of the weakest characters in Deka because of it), but there was just something about Jan that made me instantly love him. It might be his naivete, perhaps.
But I just found Takeru to be a bore. Leagues better than Jayden, but still just boring. By having the series revolve around him, I just couldn't sit through it :lol
I still intend on revisiting it, though, perhaps after I start and finish Go-Onger. Unlike some others here, I'm fully capable of altering my stance and opinions.
(Oh, and Genta tries way too hard. I can't stand him. Like, Genta to me is what Shunpei is to Switchblade :lol)

I got semi caught up today with Dairanger. Watched episodes 3-8 and then watched the movie. Pretty great stuff. Although episodes 7 and 8 are so Sentai's version of Star Wars.
