So Kiva isn't all that? Wow... So whats up next? :lol
|
OOO is always a solid choice.
Haven't watched anything prior to Kiva besides Blade, so I have no clue. I suppose Den-O is popular for a reason... |

09 and 10 of W down, or Sweets!
Akiko still gets on my nerves but it was nice seeing her come into her own these episodes, especially when she WWE beat Sweets down with that wooden chair. And we learned more about Begins Night. Mostly what I enjoyed seeing was my first look at Terror, and he is a true Terror. He looks like he could do damage and unlike Fourze and OOO I didn't have to wait until episode 40 to see him! Shotaro was even better in this episode. I loved him already, but it was nice seeing him do more than over-react to Akiko and boss Philip :lol .. I sense a disturbance in the Force .. I bad mouthed Shotaro.. Suzu, put the crowbar down! |

I don't know why but the Sweets arc is one of the arcs I remember the best, must be due to the sheer crazyness. |

Kamen Rider Gaim episode 2
Oh Kota I really like how kota was working on his henshin pose. I also liked how he would use any excuse to use the Sengoku driver. Need to make deliveries in a tiny vehicle? HENSHIN! Someone needs paint cans brought up to them? HENSHIN! A kid stuck in a tree? HENSHIN! Again, I really liked the Invess design for this episode, its a multi-colored deer that harkens back to the Deer Undead from Blade. And.... it ate the Strawberry lockseed. We also get to see Kota using Gaim better and Pineapple arms. So when the Mutated Deer Invess got destroyed, did the strawberry lockseed that it ate get destroyed too? Or are there more then one of the same type of Lockseed? Great Episode. |

You've learned how awesome he is now, so I guess I'll let you go this time. |

It presents the opinion of one as an irrefutable fact. It doesn't allow the situation of "What if someone didn't like Kiva?" because it's blind to the notion that different people have different tastes. |

And maybe Faiz. :p |

If you knew what the word 'hyperbole' meant, you'd know why you're dooming Kiva to anyone who might not like it as much as you. You essentially throw your opinion as solid fact. No way around it. |

I've yet to see Hibiki, but what happens after the midseries change, anyway? What does the new staff do to make it go downhill?
|
Watched Decade up to World of Agito, gonna stop here because I actually intend to watch Den-O unspoiled. Is it true that Decade's ending is total garbo?

Then episode 30 happens and Hibiki is fighting a weasel monster with a wheel motif in one of the ten Toei stock locations while Kiriya comes in and starts creating the exact same interpersonal drama that dominated Faiz. It's honestly not objectively bad (outside of the incredibly misogynistic Shuki arc), but so much of what made the show unique was lost in order to make it more like the other, more profitable shows. And yeah, ultimately the show did become more recognizably Kamen Rider at that point, but it did so at the expense of being Hibiki. |

Decade has pretty much no story, and as such no true ending, but yeah, it's "ending" in Movie Taisen is rather bad. |
I have a quesgion. Can the Riders in Blade use each other's cards in the series proper? Like Blade using a Club suit card?
|
I might try Hibikii after I finish Decade, is Kabuto a good one? The suit designs look great, and I want to order a figuarts of one the riders but I don't wanna buy a figuarts character that I have no idea about.

Kamen Rider has a habit of saying a lot of what doesn't need to be said, and Kabuto is basically this trend at it's utter worst in regards to Tendou, wo is Kabuto. Tendou is a very skilled fighter and quickly learns how to be Kabuto. That's not a problem. The problem is him literally believing he is God's gift to mankind, and the amount of shear ludicrous pretentiousness and forced drama that comes form him constantly saying it. (his name literally translates to Walking teh path to heaven or some bullshit) Because, you know, the audience could never figure out he was a cool guy without him telling us over and over that he literally cannot do any wrong. The only worthwhile character is Kagami who's the total opposite, but he doesn't do anything for a while and is likewise kid of heavy-handed in his character. People try to defend him as a "troll" (because they are the most endearing of people, you know) but he's not, because he believes he is a God, and little in the show stops him. He's in dire need of a wake up call and never gets one. He's a smug asshat who would have made an excellent villain rider if he had ever been killed by someone with an actual personality. Also, his finisher is hella boring, and the main gimmick of the riders and enemies made for hit-and-miss action. As for the rest of the show, I found literally every other character besides butthead Kabuto and Kagami to be boring and forgettable, in that I have forgotten them. I do even remember what the villains did. |

Kain, Matrix, and everyone else to while I'm here, ease off. No reason to turn it into a fight :p
W Ep 11. I felt bad for Kouhei. Took justice into his own hands, but he did it because they sent his sister into a coma. Now we'll see who this Virus is, and how someone got into the INDEX. o-o I thought it existed inside Philip's mind. |

Yeah, Philip is the only one to be able to access it. If you ever wondered why the book he reads has no words, it's because he's actually reading the information from the Gaia Library (another name for the index) in his head, and the book is just a blank surface so he isn't distracted.
He's "imagining" the words on the pages, so to speak. And much like Philip's conciousness travels into W when they transform, his conciousness sort of "steps in" to the library during lookups. |
