Is there any plot connection or the order is simply for the production date?


Btw, if you are looking for another anime to follow Clannad and co I'm a big fan of Bakemonogatari and it's sequels, pretty much my favorite anime.
Give it a try if you haven't already.

There's not so much a plot connection but there is a spiritual sense of progression if you watch them in that order. Partially because, yes, that is the order they were produced in and it's also the order of over all run time with Air being the shortest and Clannad being the longest.

I'll give it a look. Though it might be awhile since a) I need to give Clannad time to sink in a bit more and b) I still have to finish... Future Diary... *shivers*

Gotcha

Don't rush either, allow Clannad to sink in before returning to the crazy world of Diary Holders.

I thought the Fairy Tail anime was garbage. Just like the Reborn! and Eyeshield adaptations, it took a gorgeously drawn manga and replaced that with cheap animation and a heavy amount of censorship (Japan censors?! I know right!).
