This is the last of the Heisei 20, right? We've come so far.

Unfortunately he seems to have single elbows, but he does also have some fancy new hip joint and, for what is a rare occurence in this line, his gimmick pieces are removable and there's a hand for holding them.

Seems like the chest lines and even inside of the collar are colour-separated, as is most of the helmet.

Looks like the backs of the hands, much of Kivat, and the details on the kneepads and cuffs are going to need stickers/paint. (reasonable, YBH) What's less clear is how much colour separation is in the open leg.

Is that a generic outline, or is it based on a specific rider?

My guess is Kuuga Ultimate. The outline seems to match the upper part of his torso.

Nothing generic about that, it's Ultimate Kuuga. The lines even appear just like they did during his final transformation. I'm pumped as hell, the SS SHF is stupid expensive, but I loves me some Kuuga.

Guess this also answers the big question of "where to now that the main 20 are done?" Final forms, it seems.

Hmmm, wonder if I should get the Rising/Amazing kit now.

It would look nice next to Ultimate, and it's a cool design on its own. :rock:

Cheers folks, it’s been some years since I’ve seen Kuuga, and even then given its one episode appearance it wasn’t particularly memorable. All the same, might go for it given I didn’t spring for any of the other non-base Kuugas and it’s still a solid design.

I do hope that they’re not going for a full final form lineup now, as some more variety with secondary riders, final forms as well as Showa and Reiwa riders would be nice after a full five years of almost nothing but main Heisei Riders (and repaints thereof).

Although I wouldn’t mind Muteki Ex-Aid (perhaps I’d even spring for a shiny painted P Bandai one if it was offered, given the standard release would probably be mostly bare plastic).

All in due time hopefully. G3 kit with G3-X conversion parts and weapons would do gangbusters. :rock:
I could picture someone familiar with gunpla but not toku pick up something like that.
And come to think of it, we did get stuff like Geiz and Skull, so the chances of having non-titular riders once in a while is there.
