I must have horrible luck. I have captured 5 Absol's with an Umbreon at the front of my party and none of them have the Naive nature like Umbreon(Synchronize effect). Though when I've caught Pokemon other than Absol they have Naive...

The only ones i remember not getting full versions were the first two Advanced openings, Battle frontier and the first DP opening, all others have gotten a full opening in the movies.

I always preferred the spanish opening to the gen 1 anime than any other version.

And now I have chills. Damn.

Not the best remix of the original theme, but it's kinda funny they re-used the old theme when X and Y brought back a lot of that old Pokémon-feeling to me. Though it still can't catch up to the good old times when I wasted days completely on re-starting a friends Blue edition (without saving of coure) for the 238st time. And of course it's nothing to the feeling when I played Gold for the first time.... But it was kinda close.

To me Gen 6 felt like i was playing Pokemon for the very first time again. like when i first experienced Ruby and Sapphire on christmas 2003.

Well, I guess it's a lot more different from the first games so I guess I'll never feel like that again, but it felt a lot more like my early days than Sapphire, Diamond or White 2 did.
Ruby and Sapphire are a bit closer to X and Y content-wise than Red/Blue or Gold/Silver I guess.

Though I remember playing Sapphire for the first time felt a lot like X- though I don't like Sapphire that much, looking back on my Pokémon experience.

As you can probably tell Ruby and Sapphire are my favorites.

My favorites are Gold/Silver/Crystal and of course Heartgold/Soulsilver. Though X and Y are clos second by now.

I guess Ruby and Sapphire are okay, but they just don't feel as great now as back when I played them. I'm really looking forward to the remake though, because I loved the whole contest system and mixing berries together- one of my favorite minigames of all time.
