Oh, I totally forgot to mention. After I did get my Wizardriver and rings, Wizard rings DO light up on the portal of power. In fact, the portal of power gives off this bubble of energy that can light up the rings. I put the entire ring holder loaded with rings on the demo portal at work and they lit up super bright. By bubble of energy, I mean that you can have the ring a couple inches above/around the portal and it'll still light up.

Likewise, the Wizardriver can light up Skylanders as well.
