A pretty decent episode. I also assume the ring Kizaki wants made is the beast ring. Potentially he could become Beast? Probably not though. We always seem to get new characters as the secondaries now :(

Looking at Beast's ring design I'm thinking it's not for him, and it is Hurricane Dragon's stone. The Beast ring is mostly gold with just the green eyes breaking that up - the stone in this episode is far too large. They'd be wasting like 99% of it. And looking back at those recent magazine scans Hurricane Dragon is next up as far as Dragon modes.
I figure Kizaki will get over his antagonism to Wizard, or try and fail to use the ring, and hand it over. It doesn't seem like they know what the stones do until the ring is made, so I don't Kizaki is intentionally trying to get the Hurricane Dragon ring made. |

I actually doubt that its hurricane. And the size doesn't matter at all. Remember the Flame Dragon stone that the white wizard had dropped off? That thing was massive compared the ring made from it. I don't think size plays into this. And yeah they may not know what the stones do before they're set but I doubt that they'd be the ones in possession of the of the dragon stones. It appears the white wizard would be the one who has those. I could have it entirely backwards though :lol

And I do think the size of the stone matters - those Wizard element mode rings have HUGE stones. Yeah the Flame Dragon stone made a ring relatively smaller, but this huge green stone would literally almost entirely be wasted to make the two small gems on Beast's ring. It just doesn't make sense. I think Beast will show up having been Beast for a while. He's showing up with too many gimmicks/modes already in play. If he were being created in the show's storyline they'd draw those out more imo. EDIT: BTW I'm totally convinced White Wizard is Wiseman at this point. Him showing up in episode 9 sealed the deal for me. Dramatically, having two mystery characters at the same time doesn't make sense, unless they're the same person. If they reveal that they're two different new people, that's not interesting at all, because that's what they've been suggesting all along. It'd be playing the same trick twice after telling the audience you're going to do it. The only way that gets resolved in an interesting way as two separate characters is if one or both are people from the supporting cast. And the cast is a bit thin for that to happen. |
Glad they picked up the Section Zero thing again--I'd nearly forgotten about it.
Pretty good episode, even if it was pretty much 80% setup. Gargoyle is a pretty awesome Phantom and it should be awesome to see what happens next week. |
It sucks when your main character is the least interesting in the whole room (Guess this is how Kabuto haters must feel, eh? :lol)
I'm actually more interested and invested in Naoki and Kizaki's whole situation... |
