And then there's Abaranger and Go-Onger. Abarekiller is the 5th Abaranger and Go-On Gold and Silver break the mold with 7 members. I just call them "Special Rangers", like when you put any "6th Ranger" Key into the GokaiGalleon Buster it will say SPECIAL CHARGE!

There are no set rules to what makes a Special Ranger, whatever Toei/Bandai is feeling is gonna go. Because then what the hell is going on with Gekiranger and Go-Busters? LOL!

I know what Gokaiger counts him as. I never said Gokaiger was wrong to count him as. What I said was I, as in me personally, I count him as one. In my mind. Alone, apparently. Honestly not seeing the big hubbaloo.

Gokaiger aside, Others are usually not counted in the roll call.

6th Rangers have a sort of different connection to their corresponding Super Sentai team than Other senshi. I can't explain it, but I feel Gosei Knight qualifies as a 6th Ranger more than an Other.
