Another problem with this film is its 2D form, which looks cheaper than the special effects of the TV series. Let's wait until TV-Nihon gets a crack at fansubbing this movie, as they usually release both the 2D and 3D versions like they did with Samurai Sentai Shinkenger: The Fateful War.

I don't think a few cheap pop-out effects will suddenly make this a lot better. It was okay enough for what it was: a light and silly summer movie with no real bearing on the overall series. It was definitely not great, but I had fun watching it - for the most part, at least - and there's not really much more I wanted from it.
