So, what exactly is diecast on it? The whole thing? Or just little pieces like the triceratops horns, mammoth tusks, etc.

You know what would really make it a collector item? Instead of diecast, how about the original Megazord with full articulation and quality? Why is this rehash at all relevant?

I kind of agree. I wish that they would've gone for articulation, though they could use the SRC as an excuse not to make an articulated one.

Now I feel like a sucker for owning the 2010 reissue Megazord...

i think the hole things diecast and i think they went and sculpted in all the areas where the stikers went and paited them instead

This version's already an improvement over the original, and a new one with articulation would probably cost way too much to produce. (especialy if we want to hold on to that slim hope of a new Dragonzord) This ''rehash'' is relevant because it appears to be aming for even greater accuracy in addition to diecast. I would've prefered this over the 2010 release, and I liked that toy a lot.

If this isn't crazy expensive or has any quality issues I may consider double-dipping.

Honestly, if you want an articulated megazord just get the Super Robot Chogokin. An articulated megazord with die cast would probably bring it to Soul of Chogokin levels of insanity, as far as pricing goes.

I'll pass as I have SRC, but if this release paves the way to get a new Dragonzord toy to attach to him, I'm all for it. On the other hand, I would rather have a SRC Dragonceasar.

How is it an improvement over the original? It has fewer points of articulation than the original and is more like a statue. I'm not talking Chogokin levels, just what the original Megazord had and not the crummy 2010 version that some people are apparently content with. I still see stickers. So, it's diecast. Why is that so amazing? What was so awful about the plastic used before? I'd be kind of surprised if the articulation that the original U.S. release Megazord had would be more expensive to reproduce than using die cast. It's great you like this, I just think it's underwhelming, and I'm surprised that this item is getting such a positive reaction from people here. The morpher, fine, because that actually seems to take the morpher to a whole, new level. This? Not so much.

I'm just trying to remember where there was diecast metal in the original MMPR Megazord/DaiZyuJin.....
