I hope they do the Samurai/Super Samurai/Shinkenger zords next.
|
After I'm done with boukenger, I'll move to Gekiranger, Go-Onger, then Shinkenger. I'll get there eventually.

Did they make Candy Toys of all of the Boukenger mechs? I've been wanting them, but they seem so hard to come by this late in the game.
God I love Boukenger, it's my favorite Sentai Series. |
Awesome gallery! I had no idea that Daivoyager could wear the mixer/crane shoes too. This is making me want to start working on that kit, it's been sitting around unbuilt for a while. Nice stealth update on the Sirenbuilder gallery as well!
Mnemonic: All the Boukenger mecha, including Zubaan, have candy toys. They're awesome and the Shovel arm can wield Zubaan by the handle. This is the line where articulation started to be consistently better than the DX versions. Although technically, Dekaranger's DekaWing Robo was the first with super-articulation and the rest of the Dekaranger line was still better off than the DX in that department. This held up for Magiranger save for Magiking, who is about the same. It's arguable that Abaranger was the real start...but you have to cheat for a lot of that articulation and where you gain it in some points it's lost in others thanks to the removal of the spinning gimmick, plus the transformations were nowhere near perfect. You have to remove AbarenOh's head and stick it in Tyrano's mouth, for example. BakurenOh doesn't even have storage for his head. ...I think maybe I have too many candy toys. In any case, keep an eye on Mandarake. Super Daibouken was just there last night and Daivoyager is still there. |
