No wonder we didn't see it, it looks pretty bad and nothing like a mecha packaging

As as I recall the US packaging itself doesn't even give the vehicle a name. And you're right, it's packaged in such a way that you'd never guess it's a companion to a deluxe robo/megazord.

Are there pegs so the rangers can ride it? :p

Actually the US release of this thing was almost identical to the JP one. Paint differences aside the toy is exactly the same, so that meant no pegs for the rangers. Their inclusion in the set is a bit odd.

well most people wouldnt have noticed it since it just says space patrol set and some wouldnt have guessed since the thing never appeared on the show and you really needed to have watch the movie or dekaranger to know what its from.
