The only figures that would have Akiba parts anyway were Tyranno and Dragon. I don't think there was ever any speculation that the other Zyurangers would come with something. Tyranno & Dragon just come with their "Powerful Rangers" alternate parts anyway. Though I'd love to see all 6 decked out in that :lol
This. No reason whatsoever for Tamashii to use a female buck for Tigerraanger. Yes the character was treated as female in the US but the costume didn't feature a skirt and the costume is clearly the same as the other 4 male costumes from Zyuranger. I don't think Tamashii would produce an alternate skirt piece for Tiger when that skirt was never really there anyway. It's one thing to produce accessories the characters actually had, but in this case I doubt it and don't really think it's necessary.

They did in Gokaiger and every promo picture of MMPR shows her as a girl.

Not really. In Gokaiger if you were male and Gokai changed into a female costume it would be augmented to male accordingly, same thing if you went female to male. Like the all Silver Gokai Change that gave Mega Silver a Skirt. Or the all pink Gokai change that made Pterra Ranger a male costume. So when one of the girls changed into Tiger Ranger, sure, it had a skirt. But that was because all the costumes changed according to their user. It never actually looked like in Zyuranger.

That's not the same thing as the actual character Tigerranger never being a woman at all. Tamashii has no incentive to make a skirt for that figure other than US fans who I guess would rather make it more "correct" to them since yellow was female here. But it really doesn't make a ton of sense you know? All the stock footage for MMPR didn't feature a skirt because it was footage of a male character.

Last I heard from the official side of things (and bear in mind this was months ago) they were unsure whether to do two different releases or not, one as Female Body with no skirt and one as Male. Personally I think doing two different releases is a waste of time and resources that could go to something that people would actually want outside of MMPR Season 2/3 Purists.

I prefer a male buck, or at least skirtless, only cause thats the way it should be. But it would be nice if they made yellow a little less manly

No. Tigerranger will be male as should be. Even for MMPR fans, the Yellow Ranger always clearly male in suit. Male Yellow suit is accurate to both, a female buck/skirt is just not going to happen.

Also, we've already seen Tigerranger in the Akibaranger ad. It's a male buck.
