Gold plating is not particularly different or significantly expensive as the plating process uses very little on the layer of gold on the surface. I'm sure this thing won't be any heavier than the retail Gosei Morpher since it's likely the same all-plastic construction as the original.

It won't be retail price, sure, but it's not going to cost a ton either.

I'll just be amazed if after seeing those nine episodes of Megaforce anyone would actually care enough to go rushing out for a gold morpher.

If I had the means, I would totally buy that sucker.

Does anyone think he Gosei morpher is just too bulky and the card mechanic is a real disadvantage. Why aren't they getting attacked every time they try to use a card?

I've only watched 2 episodes of Megaforce and none of the sentai series just fyi.

That's cool that they made it with legit gold and not chrome or paint.

You know what this kind of reminds me of? Those 'gold-plated' pokemon cards that Burger King did back in it's heyday (you know the ones).

That just makes it more awesome (not any less silly and unnecessary though).
