Eric was the best part of Time Force :(
His involvement was pretty much the only reason I kept watching, considering that the rest of the TF rangers (Sans Jen and Wes) just sat around waiting for the plot to continue...

The problem with this episode is a lot of fans over think it. Don't over think it Sentai. They simply wanted 10 Red Rangers for the 10th anniversary. The Quantum Ranger was filling in the gap left by season 2 that had no new Red suit or powers. Yeah Quantum Ranger is technically not a Red Ranger, but neither is the Alien Red Ranger (White was the leader of that group).

PS I'm indifferent to the Quantum Ranger myself. He filled out the series well enough, but does become unimportant by the end (due to TimeFire footage).

Pretty much my thoughts exactly. The non-anniversary crossover of Wild Force significantly better (and is still my favourite PR crossover episode) but for what it was Forever Red was great.

I wouldn't go as far as saying Time Force would be better without him (in fact, he's fantastic in Time Force) but I have to agree about his role in Time Force. Especially since poor Rocky got no-representation whatsoever :(

(Although having Jason and Rocky wouldn't make much sense, but still)

It wasn't anything personal, I just don't like him. I don't know why he just always seemed... tacked on. And I think the toy of the Quantum Rex is why I didn't like the Zord in the show. Same with Manticore Megazord. I don't like that push-button batty auto-change gimmick.

Exactly. He's just there as a plot device and once Red accepts his role.. he becomes a useless plot device. Maybe I am overthinking it though.

Rocky would have been there if Jason hadn't. But what power wod you give him with Jason there too? The lame ninja suit?

My DVD only has 5 tracks:

1. Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers: “White Light”
2. Power Rangers In Space: “Countdown To Destruction”
3. Power Rangers Lost Galaxy: “To The Tenth Power”
4. Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue: “Trakeena’s Revenge”
5. Power Rangers Wild Force: “Forever Red”

The multiparters have been edited together on this dvd.
