The Samurai Discs have one major draw back: if Jayden loses his Spin Sword, he cannot use the Discs. And that includes things like the Shark Disc that become weapons and power ups. Shane's Ninja Powers can let him literally stay above Jayden's slashes.

However if Jayden activates the Shark Sword before Shane can knock the Spin Sword away, Jayden can continuously trail after Shane's Ninja-ing.

But both Ninja and Samurai undergo rigorous training where one specializes in stealth and assassination while the other trains in swordsmanship and direct combat. But when a ninja loses their stealth, they lose much of thier advantages. Jayden could keep forcing Shane to to fight him until Shane's inadequate combat prowess ends in a Quickening. However the level of cover in the arena might be plentiful enough for Shane to tire Jayden through repeat use of various Ninja Tricks. Enough fatigue could slow Jayden's reaction time just enough that he will show an opening and forsake his fate.

Very tough call.

Also, I don't think you can use Mega Mode without the Megazord.
