I personally think it's kinda neat that we are having a return to a "multiple rider" format instead of just "one rider, one rival". But that's probably because I got introduced to Kamen Rider with Blade and the like.
That said, I don't wan them to ONLY do hundreds of riders per show, but it's a nice change of pace.

Agreed. I got into Riders through Decade which had 2 and sometimes 3 regulars with the inclusion of Yuusuke/Kuuga. And it featured multiple riders all the time wether they were summons or not. And I loved that. By comparison W felt very flat and boring with only 2 main riders and one that was relegated to very few cameos (Skull).

Did you just say Decade was better than W because Decade spent time mucking up other rider continuities while W actually had focus and spent time making the main rider something other than a flat non-character who somehow can't even dub for the suit without sounding bored?

It's one of the most common problems Power Rangers and Sentai fans have when it comes to getting into Kamen Rider.
They want 6 guys running around in bright suits rather than 2 characters who grow and develop.

Dude you know my opinion of W. I think it's one of the most overrated things in Kamen Rider. It was an okay show with some decent supporting characters, a great secondary rider, and a flat main rider character(s). Yes. I like Decade alot more than W, I found W to be slow and rather long winded. The basic premise was great but it was executed poorly. Coming off of Decade I didn't enjoy it nearly as much. W was boring.
Just so you know I do kind of take offense to that. Sorry that I tend to like a set of characters versus an over saturation of just 2? You might think that's a problem but I like to have multiple characters to follow through out a series. And if you think there's "no development" just because there's more than 2 significant characters running around, then I direct you to rider shows such as Ryuki, Blade, Hibiki, etc.

I've been into Kamen Rider LONGER than I've been into Sentai and I haven't been into Power Rangers since I was about 10. So please don't try to act like my opinion isn't valid because I'm one of those guys who like's "6 bright suits" or whatever versus 2 main characters. Kamen Rider holds a pretty awesome place in heart just like sentai does. And besides that, with Kamen Rider you do often get 6+ people who develop or whaetver. Unfortunately it happens that 4 of them tend to be the worthless support characters who don't get in on the action at all. Developing heroes and villains is what I'm interested in, not the background dudes.

Not for me, I loved the few people concept of OOO and W, to me helped establish the main character(s) more.

Except it's a completely common problem I've noticed from my time on Toku boards. The team mentality is dropped and the series becomes about a smaller cast.
