It's the gold bands around the arms that makes things special.

At first I thought this figure was cool, but now I own both Green and Red, this seems so pointless. I know you can't cleanly move the Dragon Shield and arm bands across but it doesn't seem worth buying a whole new figure just to have Red in the Shield he wore that one time. As it comes with absolutely no unique accessories or unique benefits.

i don't see the need in this since they will be regularly released afterwards

Is everyone not thinking how badass Red would be with TWO swords?

If they really were to milk this they could do all the variants MMPR had. Red Ranger with shield but no armbands, Green Ranger without shield and armbands, Green Ranger with no shield but has armbands, Black Ranger with shield...

To be fair, it was used five times by Tyranno Ranger and once by Gokai Red as Tyranno Ranger, which is more appearances then what some Tamashii Web Figuarts have from what I've gathered.

I think they should've packed the Howling Cannon with him rather then Mammoth Ranger though, would've made it an easier pill to swallow.

It was that many times? But yeah, I think if they included him with the Power Blaster it would have made the purchase more worthwhile.

I don't remember a time without armbands, but I was never looking for them...
