Surprising, for me, is that I actually like the look of the SHF Baron a lot more than Gaim. The Baron suit is okay, but the shoulders are kinda shitty, in show and Gaim is GORGEOUS in show, but here I dunno, Gaim looks kinda...squashed? It's hard to explain and even harder to point out with such a lq image.

Maybe once we get our official images Gaim will look better than he does here.

I'll get at least Gaim because I need to own every main Kamen Rider. I'll get the others either right away or when I can depending on how much I like the show by the time they come out.

I hope we get some better pics soon though.

Look nice from I can tell. Not sure how I feel about the giant ball joints and the hip though... Is this a new thing they're trying or am I just being daft and they've been there all along?

I know I am officially down for the core 4, right now. Baron is growing on me as a character, Gaim and Ryugen were pre ordered in my head the minute I saw the designs. As for Zangetsu... He's a dick! I like his design. But I may just be getting him based on looks alone. That might change over time.

To be honest, I think the only reason it feels like we are seeing the prototypes earlier into the show is because the show started later. Wizard started the first weekend in Sept and was not shown until Nov. I still wouldn't expect to see Gaim released until Feb.

Now if they were to say Gaim is coming out in Dec, then we probably will see A LOT of Figuarts from the show, but I don't expect we will. I also expect Gaim to be no more than 48 episodes.

Yeah, that's part of the new Figuarts style. I don't like it very much either, as I really love the way the old extendable hips allowed for good posability without hindering aesthetics, however it's not a deal breaker for me, especially if the new joint style is stronger. Actually, I believe it isn't new; IIRC a similar hip style was used for Agito and a few other riders.

In any case, Gaim is looking awesome, and Baron is tempting my wallet in ways it shouldn't considering it's the wallet of a poor college kid. I hope the joints are metallic, or at least correctly colored. Having random black joints or something would ruin them for me, heck it's the only reason I haven't picked up CycloneJoker yet. Although this new body type makes me excited for if they ever remake CycloneJoker. It's great for kick poses, and everyone knows that Figuart needs redone at this point.
