I agree about the lair, but the thing was made by Kaku, so it's understandable. However, it was simple, it was basic, and it wasn't like they spent 13 minutes of an episode inside of it, so there was no need to make it all spiffy.

That's very true... it could be a simple Feng Shui type of explanation, but it still looks bad.

Dairanger is still one of my favorite series of all. And Daigo/Shishi Ranger is in my top 10 rangers.
