Not only did one blast kill him the first time, but he pretty much just became Freeza the second time by letting his own attack slice him to pieces.

There was a rumor at one point that Toho was going to throw in every monster in FW. I would love if Toho did anniversary special to Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle.

Final Wars is a giant mixed bag for me.

On the one Hand I absolutely love it but on the other hand it has bg chunks to it that are just intensely broing. Pretty much anything that revolves around Osaki is really uninteresting and to be honest I never understood what exactly it was that made the guy so special. How was he different from all the other Mutants? This movie is so light on story and yet I couldnt really follow that aspect of the story :lol

The Female characters too are really bland and nothing to write home about. The only Human or rather non Kaiju Characters I liked was Gordon and the younger Leader of the X Seijin. Both are pretty much cliched stereotypes and extremely over the top and its exactly that aspect of them I enjoyed immensely. Kane Kosugi was also alright in the movie, I always enjoy me some Ninja Black :lol

The one Thing I loved and why I will always come back to this movie is to see all those Monsters getting blasted by Godzilla. I know they are ridiculously underused but I cant stop myself from enjoying the spectacle. The Characterization of Godzilla in this movie is alright. He is just used as a big gun in this one but it kinda works even though I wished the movie would be more about him and not the Humans/Mutants/Aliens.

Oh and the music...there is some neat stuff in there but the Theme that plays at the beginning and during the last scene is absolutely terrible. It took me completely out of those scenes, why didnt they just use the one that played during the opening credits?

Yeah, a great deal of the music is one of this movie's negatives. It is a shame to because the movie can provide some great battle music (like Godzilla's theme and then the battle against Monster X), but everything else is pretty awful.

Not to mention it had that pretty kick ass song from Sum 41.
