I thought it was missing something. Seems like a missed opportunity to sell the toy too.

Am I the only one who was hoping for the original morphing calls? "Ninja Storm, Ranger Form! (turn key)"...guess that was just me being optimistic.

I'll be perfectly honest - that looked terrible. And is about just what I expected from watching Megaforce.

The morpher should announce the series each morph is from because it helps the viewer understand where each Ranger is coming from. I doubt kids could tell Lightspeed Rescue from Lost Galaxy, etc.

PS - They didn't even get the Legendary poses correct! Seriously, Saban?!

What are you talking about? They had the rangers transform into colors that coresponded to their own in Gokaiger. Hurricane Blue corresponds to Gokai Blue. Why would they have the female yellow turn into that blue? Just for gender corespondance? Makes no sense. When and where they could they matched them up properly but gender bent new costumes was an inevitability.

I just think it would have made more sense to have GokaiBlue turn into Kuwagaraiger and GokaiPink into HurricaneBlue. But that's just me and my thoughts.

But why? Just to have the genders line up better? How would you apply that logic to other shows then? Would you suggest they make magi blue one of the girls then, even though yellow blue and pink all have colors that line up from Magiranger?

I hate to sound like a jerk but what would be the point of coloring inside the lines so to speak on the gender box? The whole gimmick of the show was they could turn into any ranger, but when it came to full teams they always lined them up as best at they could with corresponding colors.

You gotta think about number placement too dude.

Joe had a corresponding color counterpart. Ahim didn't, but as the 5th member, she gets KuwagaRaiger as her next option.

I like the number/color placement over the genders. It's just less confusing and doesn't emphasize the gender aspect over the powers.

i have to agree that i wish that the morphers would announce the series name, but who knows maybe it will. it could just be that for this morph they wanted to focus on what the rangers had to say about their new powers.
