I dunno what vicious plague hit Sentai in recent years, but we were getting some creative as shit mecha, and then... ass. I feel like they got lazier with... shit as far back a Dino Thunder I want to say. With teh aux zords, and then it fluctuated, finally starting it's downward spiral with Jungle Fury IMO.

EDIT: Also yeah, Magiking. That thing was like a Transformer. It was almost incredible.

Stuff like the bits on the forearms that rise and go back and flip, you wouldn't even see that on the "good" Robos, let alone today's Simpleton-Ohs.

Goseiger had some good designs, but some very unengaging mech battles so you win that one. Same with Jungle Fury and Mystic force, the rest do nothing for me that you listed though.

I think all the Gaoranger robo are pretty much damn near perfect, Gao Hunter being the one I think is most perfect.

I like your design, it was creative and took toy-designing into consideration, which was great. Good job!
