I try to watch DK and I drop it after Episode 4. The acting was painful for me to sit through.

A lot of them were just amateur youngsters, wannabe actors or martial artists so although it never reaches Oscar levels you have to give the actors time to relax into their roles. It doesn't excuse the casting, but I think 'bad acting' is a weak complaint of the series, and something only every said by those who dropped the show in the introductory episodes.

Because Kamen Rider doesn't typically have bad acting?

Hell, Ryuki had some of the WORST acting I had ever seen in Kamen Rider.

If they were to change the henshin call for the KR adaptation franchise, what would you change "henshin!" to for english?

Dragon Knight was a really good show, and it showed how much effort everybody put into it.

Of course everything has flaws, but it worked very well as an adaptation as well as being it's own story.

Maybe Change as a call back to 'changers' often used in toku.

How about going full on Kabuto and make it "Change [Animal]." Change Dragon, Change Bat, Change Crab, Change Bull, and so on.
