That's really weird and unexpected. Yet very cool all the same.

It's an odd way to try and incorporate more flare into these things. But it looks great. I suppose we can all agree the inspiration for a monstrous combined form like that comes from the OOO SIC's having the additional monstery bits.

I'm also kind of interested in why they chose to differentiate the swords so much between forms. Looking at the line art each one has a unique blade.

Ok. Just checked the sculptor's tweets.
- All forms will come with plamonster of the same element, not based on their color.
- It is Bandai's idea.
- Dragon is also in works. They are still talking about the size of it. The dragon may have the size of the legendary Shinmetsu Garo...

Using just the color to pair the PlaMonsters with Wizard's different forms makes me wonder what they'll do for Hurricane Style.

On the other hand, if we look at their elements
Flame: Garuda
Water: Kraken
Hurricane: Unicorn
Land: Golem
..though if they were going that route, I would've expected Garuda to be paired with Hurricane.

tl;dr I've got no clue what they're doing, but it looks awesome and I might have to buy my first SIC figures!

God damn this is amazing. SIC is on a roll.

Option parts for his four cloak formations, dude that'd be the most f**king epic & BULKIEST thing EVER :lol. Also people classify a garuda to be similar to a phoenix, in-case anyone was curious :p.
