Micchy's train of mind in this episode just cements him as messed up in the head. "You made me get slapped by the girl I like...so I will shoot you in the back." He's such a sour grape.

Kaito being able to wound Deemushu compared to Yoko may just be because of his intent to go all out. With Yoko, she wanted to observe and has to hold back per Ryoma's orders. But Kaito wants to prove he's the strongest. So he's not gonna hold back at all, and had Redyue not talked Deemushu out of fighting, we'd have one less Overlord.

I doubt Deemushu would have been killed by Kaito, since that would really kill the credibility of the Overlords when one of them was killed by Kaito MUH STRENGTH Kumon. I seriously hope that Deemushu was in fact holding back this whole time, like a lot, and that he was going to muster up abit more strength this time to shut Mr. MUH STRENGTH up for good.

I can see where you're coming from, my assumption was too quick. Although now, Deemushu has a clear injury. Whether it heals in his next appearance or is his critical weakpoint that will lead to his downfall is questionable. I don't think Deemushu would be holding back intentionally, rather, to this point he has just underestimated his opponents. We've seen what he could do, but he tends to only do those attacks like once-twice during his fights.

I honestly hope he doesn't die too soon, because he's too awesome to die like a chump to fucking Banana Man.

But yeah, he could be underestimating his foes, although I think he's holding back. Or he could be doing both.

Given Redyue's desire for a "toy" it could be he's holding back. It seems that out of the two of them, he's the brawn while Redyue is the brains.

After 24's lackluster events, and 25's break in the main action for delightful comedy romp, this episode was a real return to form. Lot of stuff happened here, and things are deffinitely picking up.

Can't wait for next week. Oren seems to have gotten a bit roughed up, and Takatora tries to return to prototype Zangetsu? Can' wait for subs so I know the details and what's going on, but it just goes to show how good this program is at showing and not telling, since I can watch it without subs and still get the general idea of the hows, whats and whys. I don't need melodramatic dragging through expositionary onslaughts, I can tell what's happening by the way the characters act and what they do.

I think the Takatora thing is more on his backstory from when Ryoma started developing the SengokuDrivers.
