The fact that Saban never intended to adapt Goseiger fully probably had something to do with it.

Never intended? Yet they kept the Japanese cards, Gosei Great, and on and on, all from Goseiger. How hard would it have been to keep Datas to?

None of which required new footage, but every scene that isn't Hyper Datas would need to be refilmed?
