These are my reasons as well. The super kid friendly vibe is just not my thing. I found it pretty boring and a lot of the humorous bits were near cringeworthy for me. I personally prefer my Sentai to have a bit more of an older child sort of tone. Toqger to me is meant for five year olds (which it kinda is) whereas the stuff I like is more or less in the tone of how a lot of Kamen Rider is. It's why I like the Liveman-Hurricanger era of Sentai the most, it has comedy but it's treated in a more serious tone.

The imagination thing is really a great idea to me and if used right could open up a lot of cool things. But for what I saw, it was just used badly. The characters were just meh or bad to me with Riria and green being the only ones I found myself liking (Blue was meh, Right was bad, and Pink made me want to bash my head against my desk).

It just isn't the type of tone I like and with two characters that I only had a minor interest in, there was no point in me continuing to watch.

Also the show has no goal, other than finding their home, it's just a boring show to watch. I love trains, but ToQgers show makes me want to fall asleep. I've never had that problem with Sentai before(except for Kyoryuger) or Rider. It's just the way the show handles things that makes me enjoy Rider more and more each day.

I pretty much preferred Rider the minute I finished Ryuki. Complex ongoing story line with very little filler and has a more mature/serious tone to it. That sums up a lot of riders and it's what I've come to love for toku (though the Showa stuff is a bit hard to watch).

Concerning Sentai as a whole, only rarely do I ever write off a series that I haven't attempted to watch (That count being one, Go-On). It doesn't keep me as interested as KR does, and the only Sentai I've seen that kept me interested from minute 1 to the finale was Gekiranger.
