This stretch of episodes makes me glad I came in Kiva. I would have raged so hard at that "You need another ticket!" business if I had been following the show as it was airing :lol.

As we'll see next week, there's a lot of footage from the end of this episode that overlaps with the movie. I do like how well they fold the two together, though. I wish more shows would integrate the films this smoothly (looking right at you, Gaim).

Fun bit of trivia: the actor who plays the farting thief from this episode turns up again in the second Den-O movie, Climax Deka. Only that time, he's playing a cop.

Man, that scene with Deneb and the watermelon really came right the hell out of nowhere and makes even less sense than I'd remembered.

I somehow feel the same. Though I absolutely love the visual, it makes little to no sense to be where it is in this episode :lol

It is a textbook Big-Lipped Alligator Moment.
