It's not very hard here. The film quality changes noticeably between original and Sentai footage.

Episode 3... Let's Rocket!

Finally back to Earth after a long absence of two whole episodes. I guess it's time to check in with their former teammate Justin and let him know that... or we can go get burgers. Burgers are cool. At least it gets Bulk and Skull back, even if this season rarely seemed to know what to do with them (they aren't monkeys, though, so that's good, at least).

Overall, this was a good one, but it mostly existed to set up the show's status quo: the Rangers are back at Earth primarily, Ecliptor and Oh-lord-why-is-he-still-here-Elgar are inserted into Astronema's crew, and Bulk and Skull decide to hunt for aliens, and the juice bar is re-redecorated. It's a necessary episode, just not a highly memorable one.

It's so much fun ain't it? :D

Finally watched the episodes, and eeyup, they sure existed.
I remembered Astronema's scenery chewing because everyone brings it up, but it seems no one ever remembers just how shit Andros was early on, because damn.

He's more bland, though. It's low level bad acting, which is much less noticeable than Astronema's over-the-top bad acting.

I'm actually thinking it's the inverse. Of the main cast, early Andros is early Billy levels of bad. He stands out so much because he's not over the top. It's just odd, especially for Power Rangers.

Astronema is at least entertainingly bad. Early Andros, though...

Early Andros = that red ranger in megaforce. Just bland and dull.

Astronema is over the top , tbh - very much in the vein of all the female power ranger villains at that time , she's at least better than divatox.
