The lack of appropriate sound effects for each rider and the general lackluster design of the belt makes these much less cool.

They're definietly lack luster compared to the Rider Locks.

I wonder if there is any other Sentai sounds as well? The ToQger shift car could be like the Gaim Ressha where it can get end up not being made. I always hold my breath when it comes to leak sounds on Bandai Japan toys.

Really digging the Kabuto symbol.

Now I kinda wish the Shift Cars rolled (seriously, why in the actual hell make cars of that size without wheels...), because rolling around a little Kiva car sounds like good mindless fun.

They do roll, or at least the DX ones do. I only have the DX Midnight Shadow that was included with Tridoron, but it has fully functional wheels. I'm not totally certain about the gashapon or candy toy versions because I don't own any, but I'm pretty sure they roll as well.

Huuuuuh. I distinctly recall a review (Peaugh's maybe?) explicitly stating that they couldn't.

That was my thought to. There's nothing.. wow about them. The locks all said something unique. This just says the Rider name and Koukan. I'm more interested in how each Rider will look on Drive. I love Gaim's with the hat, so I'm looking forward to what the heck it might do with Kiva or Fourze.

The Rider Locks just had more effort put into them then Bandai had too.
