Sadly the DVD most likely won't be the same region as the US. If memory serves me correct Bluray has a lot fewer regions or none at all compared to DVD which is incredibly region locked.

I think some BLu Ray players have a region lock but the PS3/PS4 don't.

Yes, I know about the difference between DVD and BluRay regions. You said on the previous page that the DVD was region free. Was that just wishful thinking?

I've no idea how game consoles handle BluRays but Japan and the Americas are the same region for them and players in those locations should be able to interchange discs without issue.

With the way Blu-Rays are priced in Japan, I doubt I'll bother picking this up. As much as I enjoy getting new Lockseeds, there are so many variants of the Apple one at this point that I don't really mind missing one of them.
