Biggest problem with the episode, because it was all being done like we already know what that is.

Otherwise it was a fine episode. Use for Rinna outside of the scientist only role is great. Roidmude seems interesting. Brain being ganged up on is a cool turn of events and lays the foundation for future strife amongst the top brass, which is great.

Although I still dislike Dead Heat immensely.

Thing is we do know what the Dead Zone is. Dead Zone is the name of Hearts special attack were his heart pumps enormous amounts of energy through his body to amplify his strength beyond its limits.

Dead Heta was essentially made to specifically counter that attack.

We kinda do. Granted, they didn’t had like a five minute conversation over it, but during Drive's fight with Heart in episode 10, the later used the power of the Dead Zone and Belt-san described it as "amplifying the power of his internal systems beyond their normal limits", so that's basically what the Dead Zone is: The ability to amplify and overcharge the systems that both the Kamen Riders and the Roidmudes posses in order to become stronger.

This fits since both Dead Heat and Heart "overcharge" and start glowing red with lightning effects around them once they tap into the power of the Dead Zone.

What was interesting is that Gou seems to have a limit on how long he can be Mach. He mentioned running out of time. LOVED the Chase fight in the beginning, especially him just dropping on the car randomly.
Dead heat, well seems like it should have been an Accel power up, but enjoyed the battle.

Yup that was hinted at in some other episodes as well. The Mach system seems to be harmful to his body in some way.

Gotta say even though Dead Heat is a weird looking form, I really like how it functions. The berserk mode is especially nice. Though I don't always care for that old trope of "rider power up form with a cost" but I like this one. The TK figure being able to swap between both is also quite ingenious.

since in march they are getting a new rider, am i the only one that thinks kirko is going to take over gou as the new rider if that's where they are going?

Nothings been confirmed if it's going to be a new rider at all currently.
