I may just randomly get into Ultraman, now.

This was my first experience with Ultraman as well, and I think it's a good way to start. The manga is a sequel to the original show, but the story isn’t demanding hardcore Ultraman-knowledge from the reader, so you can appreciate it without knowing anything. If you roughly know who Ultraman is and what his powers are you know enough.

Sadly I didn’t knew Viz was translating these so I read the terrible fan-translations, but it was still fun.

The only thing that this has in common with Kamen Rider is a guy in armor though, the fighting is much more over the top, like Ultraman. And story-wise I kinda get a Men in Black-vibe from it, you will know what I mean when you read it.

I kinda wish this would've been an anime (maybe it will one day) since this would absolutely benefit from some cool animation, but the good drawings and some imagination (Choo! Choo!) will help you out with that.
