I'm pretty sure just making less Tires and raising the price of said Tires isn't going to drum up as much business as Bandai thinks it could.

Its not really there to drum up business. The PB Set is produced in a smaller amount than the retail Sets are. Its pretty much a safe way to get the toys out without losing money doing it.

I don't understand why these couldn't have been included with type formula? Would have made for an amazing little set of stuff.

Like just looking at these I can't even justify the price because it will undoubtedly be marked up by middlemen. It's a real shame because man I enjoy this sort of stuff.

They probably wanted to avoid Type Formula being more expensive than the rest of the TK figures. But since we dont have really good numbers for those yet its hard to make good guesses why they did it the way they did.

Size could be an issue. It's the figure plus, I think two versions of, the trailer cannon of unloading. There probably wasn't enough room in the box for anything more and keep the price point relative to the other releases.
