The toys are definitely where it's at for Ninninger. Sadly the show isn't quite as fun as I'd hope it could be. But the toys are a vast improvement over what I see as the last 2 years of stagnation with Kyoryuger & ToQger.

I just got DX Paonmaru, and it it just me or does his robot mode look like a character from an old shooter game, like Space Harrier 2 or Zero Wing?

I just got mine today, and I noticed something interesting: the forelegs bend all the way back, not just 90 degrees, and this doesn't seem to be tied to the elephant, robot, and Paon Shurikenjin modes.

This has caused me to suspect that there's another combination incoming. I wonder whether there's a specific combination involving Rodeomaru?

I'd really love it if the Q4 toys included some really basic generic robot that could equip all the additional Otomonin. Throw Paon, UFO, Surfer, & maybe Dino all on one to have something to to do with them once HaOh Shurikenjin is formed.
