No, but seriously, I'm not sure. I know the 80's had Saber Rider and Galaxy Rangers, and early Sentai did have people wear cowboy hats, and the 90's had Cowboy Bebop, and there is an abandoned Wild West theme park, but in modern Japan, I'm not entirely sure.

So, the chances of appealing to the younger audience is more of a gamble, but the older audience might enjoy it, both from the nostalgia of old school Sentai and the possibility of watching those other shows from back when. Just an educated guess, though.

I honestly think if everything looks cool enough, it will do well. Pirates were kind of a gamble and Gokaiger killed it in toy sales and creating feels lol

Let's not forget that Jiraiya, Kakublack, was a cowboy when when was first introduced.

Great idea, good motif and like somebody pointed out, is very much like Gokaiger with some sort of reusing plots from KR Black and Spielvan's antagonist characters if you let me add. i like it.

Have you considered on moving this topic to the fanfiction page?, because from what i've read it has the potential. As a matter of fact i also have my own idea for a Sentai, is not an anniversary one but more like the spiritual homage to classic sentais. It could be great that there was a vs between my team and yours. :D

By the way, i think i found the perfect soundtrack that can be a companion piece for your proposal. Its a piece taken from Meco's Encounters of Every Kind, a true gem. But because its in LP you might need to skip it to 10m:36s to find the song 'Hot in the saddle'. Best regards.
