The father plot would've worked much better if it was actually introduced or at least hinted at some earlier point in the show. It seemed as if they included that one last minute, same with the Kiriko/Chase-thing.

hey hey hey, Nadeshiko is still alive. she just retired and comes back every now and then.
and people also said that a Kamen Rider shouldn't be car themed. some people probably said because car themes are Sentai's themes.
like, I'm all for sharing themes of other shows.
it's not like Toei is gonna sue itself.
plus, it wouldn't be the first time that Ishinomori's characters/themes were shared amongst the shows he created.

What makes you think she retired? She's probably still doing her thing elsewhere throughout space, Rider Kicking everything from aliens to entire planets until they're her friends.

Well the reason I like Mach as my sort of primary Rider is mostly his design is almost a throwback to the 70's Riders...with the scarf, and his bike looking like the Cyclone. Mind you to give you my frame of mind, when watch Ryuki, I always think of it as a show where it is all from the secondary Rider's perspective (with Knight being the actual primary Rider). Again, someone kind of dropped into the middle of the battle...
