Also the surf board looks big enough for Shurikenjin to ride, as per the first image reveals of Surfermaru.

It seems like the designers are just using a dartboard to determine the mecha themes for this series :lol. That's not saying it's a bad thing though.

"Alright! We need new mechs for the next sentai, i want it on my desk by the end of the day!"

This year's theme is that there is no theme. It sounds stupid, but it works.
