Yea. And her sister, in Mystic Force, her name escapes me. She wasn't tomboyish but she wasn't weak either. I thought she was a very positive role model for young girls. All the american actresses have, I think. Though why they're making Kaoru a blonde cheerleader is beyond me.

The massive difference in their characters still astound me. Mystic Force did a really good job with the Magiranger footage to change that imo

Yeah, Mystic Force had some pretty poorly balanced character focus. Nick and Vida got most of the spotlight (which I never minded in Vida's case ;)), Chip and Xander got some focus, and Madison spent the entire season in the background (hell, she spent half of her one focus episode as a statue). I don't know why Maddie was so heavily sidelined, but I have heard that some of the other actors (or at least Nick's) actively lobbied for her to get more screentime.
