That looks awesome. I've been wanting to get into Gamera for a while now and that looked great. I think I might go watch some of his movies soon.

Shredder won't be dining on that turtle as soup that's for sure.

Thankfully this was just a concept trailer because I thought the CGI was awful and the desaturated colors (making it look like a DC movie) did not help matters either. If they actually do that with actual suits and puppets though, this movie should be awesome.

Watch the original black and white movie from the 60s and the Heisei trilogy. Those are the good ones.

To be entirely honest, I don't think a suited Gamera would really work. I've always found Gamera's movement to be awkward and too stiff, and I think he would be one of the few Kaiju that would benefit from being turned CG.

The Gamera trailer seem like it was trying to be inspire by the style of Godzilla 2014. I do like this tone that this movie may have and the action in the trailer was awesome. We haven't had a more serious Gamera film since 1999.

That reminds me, what's the consensus on the Heisei Gamera trilogy?

I forgot that they even announced a new Gamera movie, so a trailer was a nice surprise. Looks pretty cool! I'd watch a movie like that.
