Why not just let the whole set shelfwarm and go on sale? How would splitting it up in any way make it more likley to hit sale prices?

Looking at these images I can't help but think the new Red Dragon in warrior mode kind of looks terrible. It's really flat and lanky. Just doesn't look very nice to me. I get that there are people who think it looks perfect but it just does not look good to me. That image sort of clinches how goofy the Red Dragon looks to me.

I think the Red Dragonzord looks great. It was always tall and thin.

Definitely not perfect, but I do think it looks good. I will say I prefer the vintage.

I actually agree. The dragon looks okay to me, but I actually like the old robot mode better. It is too thin, I felt like they could've kept the chunk in the legs and arms without sacrificing the dragon aesthetics at all.

It's the only time where I thought it'd be nice if we could just have the originals rereleased with better paint jobs, but the Thunder Megazord overall is an improvement I think.

Yeah the original toy looks a lot better. The only thing that the legacy version has over it is the paint apps.

It has*. I picked one up for $45 two weekends ago. On sale for $50 plus a $5 off $30 for PR purchases and the Ninja Megazord Dino Charger.
I've seen it on sale for $60 a few times since release, as well.
