Ah. I guess I just got lucky then that mine pops off easily.

I was massively disappointed I couldn't make it look better. My hats off to those with the skill to do so. But that rain image is hard to replicate authentically without some kind of photoshop magic. A lot of people photoshop the two images together to do it whereas I used a clear plastic screen and water spray to get what I got.
BUY HIM. Seriously it's a worthy companion to Type Speed even if it's a bit neutered. They don't sell for anything terribly crazy on the aftermarket currently either.
I guess so :( I wish mine would but I've tried prying it open at both ends of the tire and gotten nothing but forceful resistance. It almost has to be glued in.

Beautiful gallery and a beautiful figure. Thankfully I can live without one, but your pictures really highlight how nice Proto-Drive looks. I'm curious to see when/if Bandai does Gold Drive and Zero Drive.

Now that we've seen Gold Drive on display at Tamashii Nations I'd say it's a done deal. He's just such an easy reuse of the Type Speed body & Proto-Tire and now that we've seen it physically I just can't imagine they'll skip out on it.

Zero Drive should also be just as easy, but Movie Exclusive forms have not received much attention the last few years. The last true main rider movie form to get an SHF release was Fourze Nadeshko/Meteor Fusion States. Wizard Infinity All Dragon, Gaim Wizard Arms & Rider 1 Arms, Drive Type Next/Special, those were all totally forgotten :(

Absolutely gorgeous gallery for an absolutely gorgeous figure. Proto-Drive is one of my favorite suits (tied with Ryuga....I like black repaints) and would love to own a figure of him.

*sigh* all my favorite designs are either not made or exclusives.

Ah, Chase. Another one of your badass looking forms that looks even better in figuarts form :)
