Thus why I said slightly more adult, I know Samurai Jack is pretty mature to begin with. Anyway, I doubt it was really written more for adults than kids, I assume it was written to be good first of all, with demographics being more of a secondary thing. Regardless, the fact that it was a PG show on Cartoon Network means it was still a show for kids. (i mean, heck, i could say a lot of these things for adventure time but that doesn't make it not a kid's show). And I'd be willing to bet most people who did watch it did it when they were kids even if they didn't necessarily "get it" (though they easily may have).

I mean, I guess. Again, I've never really watched it outside of a few episodes when Netflix had one of the seasons a while ago.

Having watched Samurai Jack as a kid, I really just enjoyed it as a whole. Jack as a stoic and calm hero rather than some action kid, the deeper storylines, even as a kid, it was just so much more than I could've ever asked for~

I am rather curious how the series will proceed now that they can have full blown violence against other people, rather than machines and monsters.

Barn, you should definitely check the show out, or if anything, at least check out the three episodes I mentioned.

As for Dairanger being for kids, yes it was, in Japan. Dairanger would never be allowed to be shown in the US on TV uncut and be geared towards kids.

What makes you think that? Aside from a couple of blood shots (And the sake episode, I guess), there was nothing in Dairanger that was too extreme to show kids.

Anyway, while I am more of a casual viewer of Samurai Jack than an outright fan when the show was on TV at the time, it really does suck that I find out that it didn't a real series finale and I am nevertheless happy that the series is supposedly going to continue, at least for its fans more than anything else, and yet at the same time and I hate to be that person but I'll believe it when I see it. Sorry. :/

There's nothing wrong with that. There's been a lot of nostalgia bait in recent years (Granted it's been more on the gaming side of media, but still) that has had tons of flops as well as successes.
We all have to temper our hopes with caution.

Mako had a aid during Avatar while he voiced iroh. His aid learned his speech partner and speech perfectly when he replaced mako due to his passing he was good replacement and I think he did aku in CN related games

Yeah, at the time Gennedy was planning to do a movie to finish the series off, but then the PPG movie bombed so CN scrapped it. It was strange too because there were a lot of episodes that felt like they were preparing Jack for his final battle.

I definitely think the dude that took his character in Avatar over is the way to go.

Cartoon Network needs to bring back Megas XRL and I will be happy for the rest of my life!

If I recall right, doesn't Dairanger have that drunken fist yellow ranger? While that's a bullshit excuse, as tons of anime have made up the "medicine" excuse to show those fight scenes, I think that was the reason the footage wasn't used (or at least one of them).
