For someone who is supposed to be the mentor of the team; he's barely ever there to actually mentor and/or he barely does anything. |
I think they needed to say somthing about the past Dino teams of Rangers. Just oh hey were the 3rd Dino Ranger team cool. Somthing like that. I hope next Season we get the MMPR Dino Thunder cross over.
They only need to bring one Ranger over from the u.s. the only guy lives in new zealand. This cross over wood work out grate. One guy to bring over the other alreally there. |

As for the Dino Thunder team - again, I highly doubt it. While Emma and James both currently live in New Zealand three of the others (Kevin, Jeff, and JDF) do not. That, and we can't forget the very definitive statement from Chip Lynn at SDCC 2015 in which he stated "There is no crossover in this series", to which Yoshi had to jump in to say "You never know what will happen though". If Snide/Heckyl was meant to be Zeltrax, they'd have the voice actor reprise the role. However, he did not (he voiced an earlier monster). So I wouldn't hold out on any cameos what so ever. At the absolute most, you'd have the Rangers show up already in suit, and if you're lucky, one or two would do ADR. But again, that's less than 1% chance of happening in my opinion. |
Finished the season a few days ago and it was good but not great. It had a phenomenal start but right around the time Ivan appeared the quality dipped down quite a bit. There was a huge chunk of episodes I really didnt care for especially the one about Chase teasing Shelby about her taste of music. It just felt so incredibly underwhelming. The stakes felt so high when we had Tyler dealing with all the stuff about his Dad and Fury getting the Ptera Zord but nothing ever came close to it afterwards except the finale maybe.
Another problem I have with the show is that except for Chase, Koda, Prince Phillip and Ivan the characters just feel incredibly bland. Especially Tyler was a real dissappointment to me. The stuff with his Dad was interesting but other than that he has nothing going for me that I found particularly interesting. He was just kinda there. There also were some plotholes in it like Phillip suddenly having a Dino Charger without ever getting it from Kendall or Tyler suddenly using the Graphite Rangers finisher without us ever being told how he learned to use that move. Sledge was really boring as a villain too. The show made quite a big deal out of him early on but that didnt last long. He was just not that menacing overall. I hope Dino Super Charge can get the show back to how it was in the first chunk of episodes and iron out some of the flaws the show has right now. |
